Dershowitz writes: In a recent interview, Norway’s ambassador to Israel has suggested that Hamas terrorism against Israel is more justified than the recent terrorist attack against Norway. His reasoning is that “we Norwegians consider the occupation to be the cause of the terror against Israel.” In other words terrorism against Israeli citizens is the fault of Israel. The terrorism against Norway, on the other hand, was based on “an ideology that said that Norway, particularly the Labor Party, is foregoing Norwegian culture.” It is hard to imagine that he would make such a provocative statement without express approval from the Norwegian government.

Reportedly, Obama has enlisted a team of influential Jewish surrogates — who have, despite Obama’s spotted track record with Israel, remained loyal to the administration – to help fight his conservative critics. In addition to rallying support among voters and donors, the Jewish supporters on Obama’s team will reportedly publish Op-Ed pieces in various publications that “represent the White House’s viewpoint.”

Twenty three Syrian Protesters were killed trying to breach Israel's border yesterday. And sure enough, Obama’s tenure began with the hiring of George Mitchell (on Obama’s second day in office) and the demand for a total construction freeze by Israel—not only in the settlements but even in Jerusalem. Now, two years later, Mitchell is gone and Abbas has given up on Obama. In a remarkably bitter interview with Newsweek, Abbas vented his disillusionment: 'It was Obama who suggested a full settlement freeze. I said okay, I accept. We both went up the tree. After that, he came down with a ladder and he removed the ladder and said to me, jump. Three times he did it.'"
