Jerusalem is the holiest city in Judaism, as it is mentioned hundreds of times in the Torah (and zero times in the Koran). Jerusalem contains the holiest places in Judaism, including the Temple Mount, and the Western Wall, the last remaining structure of the Second Temple. It is disappointing that President Trump is yet to fulfill his campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. But America does not get to decide where Israel's capital is located.
Under Israel's sovereignty, all significant religious sites of the three major religions are kept safe and accessible; while major religious sites in the Muslim world are destroyed by Islamic extremists. As supporters of Israel we must make sure that Jerusalem is never divided, and that it remains united under Israeli sovereignty.
