The Zionist Book Club
Every few weeks, Counter Boycott will highlight an excellent book about Israel or Israel related subjects. We encourage you to read these books, if you have not already. We will provide space for you to comment and share thoughts. Great list of pro-Israel books can be found here.
The first book we will be highlighting is Alan Dershowitz's The Case for Israel. Alan Dershowitz is a former Harvard law professor, civil liberties expert, and one of the most prominent defenders of Israel in the U.S. This book is a must read for anyone interested in Israel and the Middle East, and serves as a great all-in-one comprehensive defense of Israel's actions. In this book, Dershowitz delves into all the most contentious topics, including settlements, Jerusalem, Israel's wars and founding, the so-called refugees, and "occupation."

The next Zionist book club selection is Caroline Glick's The Israeli Solution. Caroline Glick is one of the top Middle East analysts in Israel. She writes for the Jerusalem Post and collaborates with the David Horowitz Freedom Center. She wrote this book a few years ago, and in it discusses an alternative to the "Two State Solution." According to Glick, Israel should exert sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, and offer citizenship to Arabs who express loyalty to Israel. She explains that the demographics are actually in Israel's favor, and that this would not put Israel's Jewish majority in jeopardy. Furthermore, she explains how creating a Palestinian terror state in Israel's strategic and biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria would be a disaster. This book is worth reading for its outside the box ideas for dealing with the Arab war against Israel.
